At JA of Greater Baton Rouge, we host several events throughout the year to raise money to support our programming. These events also engage the community in our efforts to reach students! Whether you'd like to get involved on an individual level or as a business through event sponsorship, we offer several ways for you to support our work while having a great time!

JA Kings of Swing Golf Challenge 2023
When: Thursday, October 26, 2023Kings of Swing benefits Junior Achievement of Greater Baton Rouge. Business leaders bring their competitive spirit and passion for supporting educational mentoring through JA by challenging other leaders in this business-to-business competition. The event is great for networking and client relationships. There will be team elimination until the top team is crowned the Kings of Swing!
Our fundraising goal for this event is to raise $100,000 to support JA classroom mentoring programs.
The event will take place on Thursday, 10/26/23 from 3:00-6:00 at Topgolf Baton Rouge.

Crawfish King Cookoff
When: Friday, May 10, 2024This event is a team crawfish boil competition where companies compete for the title of Crawfish King. Typically over 13,000 lbs of crawfish are boiled and the competition takes place in downtown Baton Rouge. It is open to the public and tickets can be purchased in advance for $35 all you can eat crawfish- ($40 at the gate). Kids tickets are $10. Date: May 10, 2024
