Paula Dawson President - Leadership
Paula Dawson serves as the President of Junior Achievement Greater Baton Rouge and Acadiana. A graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University, Paula resides in Baton Rouge and brings more than 25 years of nonprofit leadership experience. Throughout her career, she has successfully led teams and managed multi-office operations, driving organizational growth and community impact.
Together with her dedicated team, Paula has focused on creating immersive, hands-on learning experiences that make a meaningful and lasting impact on students. Through innovative programs and strategic collaboration, Junior Achievement has established numerous parish-wide partnerships with school systems, businesses, and community leaders to enhance learning outcomes and better prepare young people for future success.
Paula and the Junior Achievement team are passionate about developing the next generation of leaders by empowering students through financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship. Under her leadership, Junior Achievement continues to expand its reach, strengthen community partnerships, and provide transformative experiences that equip students with the knowledge, confidence, and skills needed to succeed in school, work, and life.
