JA Our City® introduces third grade students to the essential concepts of community, collaboration, and the economy through hands-on, engaging activities. It includes five 45-minute sessions, with additional extended learning activities. (Grade 3)

Featuring: JA Our Region

JA Our Region® helps students explore how regional differences shape job opportunities, resource use, trade, and consumer choices. It shows students how their choices can contribute to their local and regional economies. (Grade 4) JA Our Region offers flexible implementation options to meet the needs of students and teachers in a variety of use cases. It includes five 45-minute sessions, with additional extended learning activities and optional digital assets offered throughout.

JA Our Community® immerses students in the daily life of their community the people who work there, the money decisions they make, the flow of the community's economy, and the importance of being involved and responsible community members. (Grade 2) It includes five 45-minute sessions, with additional extended learning activities and optional digital assets offered throughout.

In West Baton Rouge Parish & Iberville Parish, Junior Achievement is excited to offer a comprehensive suite of programs that focus on our three foundational pillars: Work Readiness, Financial Literacy, and Entrepreneurship.

High school students will explore all three pillars through our Ladies and Mentoring Men programs

Elementary and middle school students will get a full suite of learning through our JA-in-a Day program.
